Abstract
Frank Kermode axiom establishes that “to develop a character, one most keep narrating”. This means that between narrated actions and a character is a building relation because he exists only through a story. In the case of Ignacio Solares’ El sitio, the confinement and its consequences will develop an homodiegetic narration where the character will be unable to exit. This symbolize the presence of this man in the universe at the same time that helps to understand the role of death in it.
